Positive affirmations and mantras are now hugely popular in the wellness world. A lot of psychiatrists will talk to their patients about the power of positive thinking. Science shows us that we can rewire the neural pathways in our brain. It just takes a bit of work and the ability to be open to new ideas about who we really are and what we deserve. Whilst we are not our thoughts, we can become what we think. We can attach ourselves to labels, allowing them to be part of our ‘identity’. Sometimes labels can make us feel safe. But we need to ensure that we don’t put ourselves in a box. We also need to ensure that we don’t allow others to put us in a box.
I have shared a lot about my own wellness and mental health journey and, whilst I know this has helped SO many, I am also aware that some will have judged me. The key is to remember that if we are judged, then clearly that person just needs to get to know us better. And there isn’t time to get to know everyone on a deep level. So being comfortable with being judged is so important. People are going to judge either way, so I would much prefer to be judged for being myself. It feels lighter. I also notice that the happier I am, the less likely I am to judge others or myself.
I have lots of positive mantra meditations for you to use at my youtube channel (subscribe here).
I will put the words to a recent one below. Don’t just read it though, believe it.
It’s time for you to shine. You deserve relationships where you are celebrated, not shamed. You deserve to have long hugs and to be shown so much affection. You deserve to be with people who lift you up and make you feel safe and cherished. You deserve cheerleaders. You deserve true passion. You deserve acceptance. You deserve the type of connection you see in the movies. You deserve to be the leading character in someone’s love story. Because you have a beautiful, massive heart. A heart that is so precious. You are an earth angel who feels deeply. Because you love so hard. It’s time for you to receive the level of love that you give. It’s your time now. It’s time to think about yourself rather than everybody else. It’s time to acknowledge any loneliness. It’s time to raise your standards. It’s time. It’s time.
You are so so worth it. Your life is going to change. In the best possible way. It’s time for you to take instead of constantly giving. It’s time for you to let your hair down and your shoulders drop. It’s time for the light to come back into your stunning eyes. It’s time to focus on your soul and your soulmate instead of any thoughts that drain your energy. It’s time for you to play again. It’s time for you to feel all the big feels. It’s time for you to be open to all the signs you have had over the years. Those signs and feelings you have pushed down.
There is no time for self sabotage, it’s time for self respect. So take another deep breath and remember who you truly are. Your mind can’t take you there. Your soul is shining. You are here to be your most authentic soul. Because who you really are is so unbelievably beautiful. You are so in love with life. You are so in love. So don’t hold back. It’s time for a new chapter. It’s time for fun and freedom. It’s time to feel warm and light. It’s time for joy. It’s time to be a rebel and take off your mask. It’s time for a good heart to wipe away your tears. Because sipping from the devil’s cup never overflows. It’s time to rise and learn to fly again. It’s time to come to life after trying to pick up the pieces for everyone else. It’s time to be still and forget about any surface level stuff. It’s time to feel alive. It’s time for deep connection in a disconnected and lonely world. It’s time to feel a release of life running through your veins. It’s time to open your beautiful heart.
This is your one and precious life on this earth plane. SO make it count. You got this. You are pure magic.
