On Friday, serious mojo injections hit our kitchen. I received a delicious treat from @thecafemilk – a beautiful brunch box, a couple of weeks ahead of their launch for Mother’s Day weekend.
Above is the original box, which also comes in vegetarian and vegan options. The hamper includes stunning flowers from @tupelotree, Santu coffee, almond croissant, pan au raisin, rhubarb compote with Greek yogurt, charred corn and Devon ancho chilli cornbread muffins, seasonal fruit, heatherfield smoked salmon and cold pressed orange, turmeric and ginger juice. Everything is super fresh and absolutely delicious.
I think this is a lovely way to kick start the Mother’s Day celebrations in 2021.
Founded in 2010, MILK is a destination for food that is nutritionally sound, seasonal and natural. The team choose thoughtfully sourced ingredients that include organic and local produce where possible. They prefer local (preferably Scottish grown) and traditionally farmed food, including Red Tractor Assured poultry and sustainably caught fish.
All the dishes are made in house. The pastries are large and luxurious, that super fresh yet creamy and crunchy compote had me groaning. The coffee beans smell and taste so good and don’t get me started on the fresh orange, tumeric and ginger juice (I would have that every day if I could). Charlie has always loved his fruit and it was all so juicy. With the luxury salmon and moreish muffins, this was a lovely treat.
Note – this was a gifted, PR Sample but all opinions are of course my own.
