From smashing the stigma around mental health to extolling the powerful positive impact running can have on wellbeing, JoJo Fraser has huge passion for helping people to release their inner mojo. The Edinburgh-based author, speaker, blogger and podcaster is a force of nature when it comes to inspiring audiences with her frank and funny talks on wellness and mental health. From overcoming anxiety to dealing with stress at home and work or handling addiction to social media, JoJo draws on her own experiences in a heart-warming way. She also brings evidence and knowledge through her collaborations with The Mental Health Foundation, wellness and life coaches, positive psychologists, nurses and doctors. Her vision is simple – that one day it will be normal to talk openly about mental health and our struggles.
The countdown is on to the grand opening this Friday 2nd August when INNER CITY with DJ GARETH SOMMERVILLE, KIRSTY WARK and FRED MACAULAY kick off 10 days of music, comedy, film, literature, family, conversation, well-being and exploration events. Join us in North Berwick on the beautiful East Lothian coast this summer (2nd – 11th August) for some fresh sea air with your Fringe!
Founded in 2008, Fringe by the Sea is operated and run by Fringe by the Sea Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation. It is only through the incredible support of numerous community volunteers and organisations as well as passionate sponsors that the festival is able to succeed. The festival is managed by a team headed up by Directors Niall Middleton and Rory Steel and General Manager Jackie Shuttleworth.
