
Thanks so much to the lovely Mum’s who have sent me messages since I shared my car seat drama blog entry! It’s always great to exchange stories and tips. I thought I would share one of the recipes that was kindly given to me to bribe Bonnie (without the nasty sugar highs that so often come with convenience snacks).
This morning I put it to the test as we had friends round to visit. This is a super easy recipe and it’s great as Bonnie really enjoyed making it with me.
All you need is –
3 ripe bananas
2 tablespoons of apple purée ( I used Ella’s kitchen fruit pouch)
2 tablespoons of honey
Dried apricots and currents
200g oats
You simply mash the bananas, add the other ingredients, mix and put in the tray. It’s takes about 25-30 mins in the oven at 180. Bonnie was very proud to serve this up to her wee pal Finlay. It is also a nice healthy snack for adults. Daddy enjoyed some when he got home from work. Thanks Rosie x
